LPG Reticulated System Description Top

The Client has constructed one residential apartment building with 126 residential units, known as Concord Lake City ‘Shapla’. As per Government rules and regulations, the client did not get any natural gas pipeline connection for their newly developed apartment. In such situations, LPG was the only alternative solution. But the use of individual LPG cylinders for each individual household would pose certain difficulties. The 126 units would have to use 126 LPG cylinders, which could have been difficult to handle, interrupt the gas supply and increase safety risks.

LPG Reticulated System Challenges

Considering the market reputation, excellent quality, and service of Omera Priority the client reached us through our 24x7 Hotline customer care number to provide them LPG reticulated system solution. Omera Priority's technical team visited the client's site to check the site condition and made all necessary site measurements for the LPG cylinder bank. Omera Priority's engineering team designed the system considering the maximum flow rate and total monthly consumption and installed the reticulated LPG system using the best quality equipment and maintaining the highest safety standards. Two cylinder banks were set up in the client site and provided with our standard 45 kg LPG cylinder. One cylinder bank remains in operation and another cylinder bank remains on stand-by. Therefore, the client is getting an uninterrupted gas supply and knows exactly when to order the gas refills. The residential unit owners are now stress-free because the gas supply is centrally controlled and they don't have to manage individual and huge quantities of LPG cylinders.

The Client has a bakery in Cox’s Bazar with 5-6 commercial burners and ovens for baking and Cooking. The burners and overs were placed some distance apart. Therefore, LPG cylinders had to be placed in different locations of each burner. Hence it was a bit difficult for the client to handle and change the cylinders every day. Also, there was a safety issue with storing so many LPG cylinders inside the kitchen area.

LPG Reticulated System Commercial Challenges

Knowing the availability of LPG supply across Bangladesh and Omera Priority’s quick solution and service, the client reached us to provide them a central LPG reticulated system solution. Omera Priority's technical team visited the client's site to check the site condition, Cylinder Bank location and the consumption and pressure rating of each commercial burners. Omera Priority's engineering team designed the system considering the highest safety standards, Gas flow and pressure rating of individual burners. Using our standard 45kg LPG cylinders, which are very suitable for this type of networked system solution, two banks of cylinders were installed, allowing for one operation and another as a back-up gas supply. In addition, we set separate regulator for each burner, depending on the pressure requirements for smooth operation. As a result, Client can now enjoy a constant gas supply from central location as well as hassle-free cylinder handling and no safety issues.

The client had set up a large facility for manufacturing color coated corrugated steel sheet near Dhaka considering the availability of natural gas. But after the plant was set up, the supply of natural gas started to decline.

Challenge

To continue production of the plant with highest capacity utilization, the client had set up SNG device into its plant. SNG is a blending device which blends LPG with Compressed Air and provides the similar characteristics of natural gas. As a result the client has been able to run its machinery at full capacity with Natural Gas and SNG. The client finalized with another LPG operators for supply of LPG and had taken supply from this operator for a certain amount of time. But the client was not getting the proper supply on time and technical support as and when required from this operator. 
So the client decided to switch to other operator. Considering the technical expertise, the strength of the support function team, available logistics infrastructure and capability to ensure LPG availability, the client decided to choose to have a long term contract with Omera Priority. Omera Priority is supplying to this esteemed customer from 2022.

The client has 2 nos 10 ton natural gas based boiler in its premises to produce steam to be used in its production processes. But due to low pressure of natural gas, the client was not able to run the boilers at full load.
